Piano Instructor

Born in Victoria 1965, Ingrid started to play the piano at the age of four under the strict guidance of her older brother. She continued studies at the Victoria Conservatory of Music from 1971 to 1985 under the direction of Margaret Hendry, Winifred Scott Wood and Rena Sharon (Professor at UBC and CBC recording artist).

Mrs. Henderson received the AVCM Graduate Teacher Award in 1985, and is recognized by the Glenn Gould Professional School as a teacher with talented students. She is highly revered as a teacher specializing in preparing young talent for solo and orchestral piano performance of all levels, and has been a faculty member of the Victoria Conservatory of Music since 1985.
